Lance Smith

Lance Smith is the Executive Vice President at PJC Insurance Agency in Springfield, MO and a member of the Sunstar Insurance Group Executive Committee. He is a graduate of Missouri State University earning a degree in Finance and Insurance. Lance joined PJC in 1996 as a producer focused on the transportation insurance space. In 2004, he became a partner in the agency and began directing the transportation insurance division. In 2008, along with fellow partner Raylene Appleby, the remainder of the agency was purchased. He became a member of the Sunstar Insurance Group in 2016 with Sunstar’s acquisition of PJC. Lance was a charter recipient of the Transportation Risk Specialist designation and also holds the Associate in Insurance Services designation.
